Whispering Angel
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino), Syrah and Tibouren, the wine is fresh with notes of citrus, red berries, rose petals and nectarines, augmented by herbal notes of dill and coriander. On the palate it is intense and flavourful, making it easy to see why the wine now sells over six million bottles annually (in the world, not just in Montenegro). A high quality summer rosé at an attractive price point, this is great on its own or paired with pizza, burgers, seafood, charcuterie and soft cheese.
Château d'Esclans
Situated in the cool hills in the heart of Provence, Caves d’Esclans was founded by Sacha Lichine in 2006. Born in Bordeaux, Sacha spent his youth working at the family estate, Château Prieuré-Lichine, a grand cru classé located in the Margaux appellation. But Sacha’s love was always rosé, and about 15 years ago he convinced fellow Bordeaux native Patrick Leon (winemaker of Château Mouton-Rothschild) to come with him to Provence, with one simple idea: to make the best rosé in the world.
