Prosecco Millesimato Brut

One of the best examples of a DOC Prosecco ... or, indeed, the best according to The Times of London. The grapes come from vineyards on the plain at the foot of the hills of Farra di Soligo, where the soils are a mix of clay and limestone (ideal for the Glera grape variety from which Prosecco is made). With delicate, fine and persistent bubbles, the aromas are elegant, fresh and fruity; reminiscent of green apples. On the palate it has a lovely touch of tanginess and a dry aftertaste. This Prosecco is excellent as an aperitif or as a base for fruit cocktails; it also goes perfectly with fish hors d’oeuvres, bean soups and fresh cheeses.

The vineyards of Azienda Agricola La Farra, owned by Nardi family, are found on the hills around Farra di Soligo, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The family has farmed this land for generations, using both traditional and environment friendly techniques to enhance its wines. This has made La Farra a critical favourite and one of the best ‒ and best value ‒ examples of wines from the Prosecco DOC appellation.
