This wine is made from 4 exceptional terroirs of Nalys (“La Crau”, le “Bois Sénéchal”, “Nalys” and “Piedlong”). The blend is dominated by Rousanne and Grenache, complemented with Clairette and a touch of Picardan. Two-thirds of the wine is oak-aged bringing a dense complexity. This fine white wine of Château de Nalys is defined by elegant aromas of white flowers and light toasty notes together with a lovely balance and a long finish. In two words: nobility and complexity. With an aging potential of at least a decade, some great pairings for this wine would be shellfish, fish with a “beurre blanc” sauce and aged goat's cheese.

Château de Nalys enjoys an exceptional position in the heart of the appellation opposite the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its famous Papal Palace. With its sixty hectares, this lovely property is made up of three similar-sized plots: “Nalys” in the area of “Grand Pierre,” home to red sandstone soils; “Bois Sénéchal;” and the famous terroir of “La Crau.” The latter two plots are endowed with ancient stony alluvium soils and the famous pebbles of the Rhône region, the “galets.” Château de Nalys is, without question, one of the premium estates of the appellation, it’s Grand Vin named one of Wine Spectator’s Top 10 wines in the World in 2021.
