An icon for the whole of Sicilty, this wonderful Chardonnay comes from Planeta’s prized Ulmo and Maroccoli vineyards in Menfi DOC. Fermentation and maturation is in French oak, creating a wine expressive of its location but with a thoroughly modern feel. The 2021 is a naturally rich yet svelte and elegant wine with flavours of citrus, peach, acacia honey and almond paste. Pair with fish, seafood and cream-based pastas and white meats including poultry, pork and even veal.
