A stunning wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grape, of course, and known for its unique and complex flavour profile. It has a lovely golden colour with aromas of white flowers, citrus, and mineral notes. The palate is crisp and fresh with flavours of lemon, grapefruit, and grassy herbaceous notes. This wine is aged for a minimum period of six months which gives it a full-bodied texture and a long finish. Château de Tracy
Wine production at this ancient estate can be traced back over 600 years, though it wasn’t until the end of the 19th century that the property started to sell Château de Tracy wines. There are 33 ha of vineyards all with the highest environmental certification. All the vineyards are planted with Sauvignon Blanc and are located on gentle slopes overlooking the Loire with a south-west exposure. The wine is vinified in a mix of 600hl concrete and stainless steel vats and the lees are regularly stirred to add weight and richness to the wines. Though production is not large, Château de Tracy is regulalry found on wine lists of Michelin-starred restaurants throughout France.
