Chianti Classico "Peppoli"
From an estate of the same name in the heart of the Chianti Classico zone, Peppoli is probably the best wine in its price point, and an ideal choice as an everyday drinking wine and for service by the glass. The 2022 Pèppoli is ruby red in colour. Intensely fruity notes of cherries and red currants dominate on the nose along with integrated aromas of violets and a light touch of toasted oak. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and savory with supple tannins. A great complement to pastas and tomato-based dishes, it also pairs with poultry, lamb and red meat (as long as not too fatty).
