From predominantly marlstone and sandstone soils, this Chardonnay offers an intense, fruity bouquet (reminiscent of bananas and ripe apples) with an excellent persistence. Medium bodied with an unmistakeable yet subtle creaminess on the palate. This is a wonderful pairing with fish, both classic and nouvelle cuisine with sauce, and especially grilled. It also pairs with shellfish and creamed vegetable soups. Fans of Jermann’s Pinot Grigio will love this interpretation of Chardonnay.

The Jermann winery was born from the passion and vision of a family of Slovenian origin who arrived in Friuli in 1881. From simple farmers, the family became in a few years the owners of vineyards. In the 1970s, Silvio Jermann, with his youthful flair and imagination, brought the estate to the top echelons of Italian wine, and then to the world’s in terms of quality: perfumed and harmonious wines created using modern methods, but always respecting tradition. Today, Jermann wines are among the most appreciated in the whole of Friuli and well known internationally.
